RENTAL TERMS

Initial rent is payable in advance. Rent is due each month on contract date until returned to lessor.
Lessee may return instrument within 3 business days of initial rental date for full refund of all rental money collected.Absolutely no refunds after 3 business days.
Rent paid more than 10 days past the due date will be subject to a late fee.
If rent becomes more than 60 days delinquent, the balance will be sent to our collection service. The amount sent to collections will include the full cost (with tax) of the instrument, minus payments already applied, plus a 50% collection fee based upon the aforementioned total turned over to our collection agent.
Renter agrees that the original contract gives authority to any agent designated by Metronome Music, Inc., to recover the above rental instrument wherever it may be located, including the school where the rented instrument may be occasionally located and further release from harm the school district, all administrators, & teachers who may assist Metronome Music, Inc. in recovering said instrument.
Undersigned has read, understands and will abide by all conditions of this contract.

RENTAL PROGRAM DISCLOSURES

1. The instrument described at right is made available to you on a monthly basis. It is agreed that the instrument may be returned to the lessor at any time. Upon lessor's receipt of the instrument, this agreement is cancelled, providing the instrument is in the same condition (less normal wear and tear) as rented and all due rental payments have been paid.

DO NOT RETURN THE INSTRUMENT TO ANYONE WITHOUT OUR AUTHORIZATION. YOU ARE LIABLE FOR ALL TERMS OF THE CONTRACT UNTIL THE INSTRUMENT IS DELIVERED INTO OUR POSSESSION.

2. The instrument may be purchased at any time during the rental period with an allowance for all rental payments (less maintenance, late fees, and any service charges) and a 30% discount on the balance for new and rental return instruments and a 20% discount on the balance for used instruments.

3. Rental charges are due on a monthly basis until returned to the lessor or purchase price has been reached. Applicant agrees to above terms of this agreement and authorizes Metronome Music, Inc. to contact any credit agency or pertinent individual for information pertaining to the credit worthiness of the undersigned applicant.

MAINTENANCE PROGRAM DISCLOSURES

1.Maintenance fee will be payable on a monthly basis and only while instrument is rented. Maintenance agreement is void if rental payment is delinquent.
2.Our agreement includes all damages exceot malicious damage. It is for repair only, not replacement except from theft outside of the school premises. Theft must be filed on a police report. Agreement does not include loss of instrument or any other equipment included with the rental. Malicious damage is when the instrument has been damaged outside of normal wear and tear. Malicious damage will be determined by Metronome Music, Inc's manager of the repair department, sales manager, or store owner.
3. Accessories not included are cases, oil, cleaning material, drum sticks, drum heads, books, and any other accessory not part of the instrument. Customer will have to replace the case if marked with permanent ink.
4.All repairs must be done on the premises of Metronome Music, Inc. No one is authorized to perform any repairs unless in writing by an agent of Metronome Music, Inc, and must be paid by person renting the instrument if repair is done by any other source.
5.Maintenance fee is $8.00 (plus tax) per month for flutes, clarinets, trumpets, trombones, and percussion kits (drums)..
6.Maintenance fee is $10.00 (plus tax) per month for saxophones.

7. Maintenance fee does not apply toward purchase of the rental instrument.

8. At the end of the first month, the maintenance agreement will automatically be added to the monthly rent. If I wish to cancel the maintenance agreement, I will contact Metronome Music, Inc. I understand that if I cancel the maintenance agreement, I will be financially responsible for any damage and/or repairs.
